Questions regarding Madara's rinnegan

Okay please bear with me..

I hope i am able to explain properly and hope i am not completely mistaken..

Okay, assuming madara gave his eyes to Nagato to awaken the Rinnegan, and Nagato awakens it. Now after Nagatos death tobi take one eye and after edo when Nagato and Madara came they both had rinnegan as well..So now there are 5 rinnegan (2 with nagato and Madara and 1 with Tobi).

Please help where I am making the mistake in thinking..

Edo Tensei brings back people even with th kekkei genkai they had. Like kabuto did with madara. He was able to bring him back in the form when he was at the top of his power instead of as a old man when he died.

You're not making a mistake, there are five rinnegans. Edo Tensei allows you to duplicate them since they're part of a person's soul.

There was only one pair of real non dead rinnegan's, tobi's... He took those from nagato, and nagsto got those from madara what's the problem

Oh ok now i also see another confused point yu have, madara gave nagato BOTH his eye's he only happened to have one SPARE as he said, there has only been two eye's of tje rinnegan passed on together, from madara to nagato to obito..

that means that madara is the only one who have actually awakened a rinnegan (excluding s06p)
the ones from nagato were madaras
and the one tobi has was from nagato who had rhe eyes from madara.

so why did negato have to awaken his rinnegan eyes if they was most likely already awaken by madara when he gave to negato?
