It works exactly the same way. That is, if Obito tried to be invinsible in the kamui dimension, his body parts would appear in the real world. If Kakashi tried warping something in the kamui dimension, it would appear in the real world, etc.

-Obito's Kamui needs to make contact while Kakashi's doesn't
-Obito can use his Kamui to warp only his body parts (thus become invinsible), while Kakashi cannot
-Kakashi's Kamui is faster, which was confirmed by Obito

-BOTH can use Kamui on themselves, however

Also, Obito's Kamui seems to be much less chakra-taxing, but this might be due to his Hashirama DNA and not actually a characteristic feature of his Kamui.

My point is the same as yours, but i had not explained properly.
But i refer to Chapter 608 means Kakashi did kamui himself back to Naruto world.

Kakashi had not enough chakra when he said this during training Naruto.
However Obito

Note:
If Obito did not gave Kakashi his left eye, then Obito will be very strong & skillful.

Well Obito's Kamui would simply work the same. But instead of his body being transferred to the "Kamui Dimension", it goes into the real world. To the users of Kamui, the worlds become interchangeable really. Some might question the five minute rule, but that is completely dependant on Kishi and how he decides to work that. It may be that only his phasing or "ghost mode" might be five minutes or his entire ability though that would make for a short fight between the two. Also on considers how much more difficult it is for Kakashi to use his as he is neither Uchiha nor has cells of the First. I do not see them using Kamui simply because it would merely send them back to the real world, defeating the point of having them go away in the first place. Some big realization will happen first. Then one or both will return. Maybe Obito with both eyes. But that last part is simply a desire of mine, as I can only imagine the vast power from using both kamui eyes at the same time. EX: possible added speed to ability to absorb self and duration making "ghost mode" much more powerful def than it already is as well as making instant transportation possible.

lol Yeah I found it odd that other than the new six paths he created, he has not had much use of his rinnegan. Albeit, its implied that he can use the Rinne Rebirth in his conversation with Madara.

Every seems to put it down to Hashirama's DNA. Well here's a different perspective. Its simply less chakra costing because he is an UCHIHA. He survived the boulder on him due to repairs from DNA that Madara gave him but even he stated that before that occurred that somehow Obito managed to simply slip through it last moment to save what was left of his body (presumably subconciously). Keep in mind he is have dead (literally) and therefore has little to almost no chakra left.

Idk how the kamu is going to work but i do think this will be a striaght up fight not as bad ass as everyont thinks. take a look at what point he decides to take kakashi to the other dimension the same time the ten tails starts to change. Kakashi is the only threat to the ten tails revival he only took kaka-sensei to buy time for the ten tails complete it transformation. I think they will both be back kaka sensi maybe a little more worn by the fight but they will both alive

That doesn't seem strange though? Like if Obito tries to use his intangibility move, is he gonna have whatever body part just hovering around the shinobi battlefield? It just doesn't sound like it would work to me cause to me Obito has control over what happens in the Kamui dimension instead of the real world.

Maybe Obito could teleport inside Kamui to different points , but making his body intangible I think would just leave that part of his body on the battlefield In the real world..where people could still touch him..
