My first question which is a common one i see is, Does this require senju dna?

2. This jutsu like izangi must have a huge draw back, like you lose your eyes right?

3. Follow up question, can you lose your light if you have a EMS. because technically your EMS is eternal?

4. And last you guys remember the clip of madara vs the 1st hokage and how madara kinda went back in time or saw the attacks in the future and prevented it in the present? idk how to explain it but what if thats izanami? seeing the future and deciding its present.

1 - no. it's an uchiha technique. Danzo only needed senju dna to control so many sharingan as were on his arm.
2 - you got it.
3 - hmm... my bet is that the EMS will not protect against loss of sight due to izanagi. Though it may!
4- when did he go back in time? mustve missed that one.. :shrug:

My god I can't stand these Izanami thread, why must people create 89740928739482 threads on it? It is not that hard to understand. Yes you lose your eyesight, that is what Itachi said. It is the pair of Izanagi. Izanagi makes reality turn into illusions. Izanami obviously has the ability to make illusions turn into reality. Itachi even basically said this himself. I don't know why everyone is so ****ing obsessed and mystified with this jutsu. It is not that hard to understand. Everyone is looking over good threads that actually have good questions and theories to obsess over Izanami, when it is not even that much of a mystery.

1. One would think, Itachi would tell him(Sasuke) he can't use Izanagi because he doesn't have Senju DNA, when he asked "How do I do Izanagi".


Then again.. We have absolutely no idea if Tobi's an Uchiha, for all we know, He could be a Senju with Uchiha DNA.
Until proven.. You need Senju DNA to do Izanagi.

2. Yes, you lose your eyesight. We don't know if Itachi is gonna use both eyes or just one.

3. We have no idea if you can lose your eyesight if you have EMS. Now.. it is a Sharingan tech not Mangekyo Sharingan Tech.

*Also since Itachi is a Edo... There's a 50/50 chance he'll lose his "Light" .

* Sasuke would be unbeatable if he could use Izanagi without going blind. That move would be waay to broken.

4. That was an OVA.. It's not cannon to neither the anime or manga.. soo..we don't know.
