Why do Naruto fans always use the fact that Sasuke didn't have to train as hard as Naruto as a reason to hate on him?
I mean be realistic, thats usually how secondary protagonists are, and for good reason. Usually the main character's rival is either
1. Super strong already
Or
2. They start them off at a similar position to the main character, but use off screen training, right off that the rival us a genius, or use instant power ups.
Kishi went with the latter. Naruto is the main character, this means that he is given more screen time so that the reader can watch him grow develop, and keep their role as the center of the story.
Because the MC is the center of the story the rivals ALWAYS grow at an accelerated rate so as not to take away from the MC. Since Kishi is dead set on keeping Naruo and Sasuke in the same league while not giving Naruto a third of screen time Naruto gets, Sasuke is forced to grow faster in shorter periods of time. I.e. instant power ups.
Still, Sasuke in order to get where he is currently feeding on the uchiha steroid known as HATRED, abandoning all chances of future happiness and selling his soul to the top villian in the manga, exposing himself to Orohimaru's inhumane experiments, kill the 3rd Strongest member of akatsuki, and go through the trauma of realizing the person that he killed with his own hands was the person he held most dear in the world.
I am not trying to say that Sasuke is better than Naruto in anyway, but while Naruto's power was obtained through hard work, Sasuke obtained his power through both pain and sacrifice.
Sasuke's power was not free :stfu:
Training and learning new things are easy for Sasuke, but no one is immune to pain. Sasuke's pain gave him power as a result plunged him deeper into darkness.
