Questions about Totsuka Blade

Do you think Itachi can hit a moving target with his spiritual weapon? The fact is Totsuka has always hit a stationary target. Oro was hit while he was talking sh*t. Itachi hit Nagato he was unable to move on his own. I'm curious if Itachi can hit a moving target because the blade seems like a straight stab which seems fairly easy to dodge for anyone who's not in the middle of talking or crippled in the legs.

What do you guys think? Is Itachi only able to use his blade as a straight stab or is he capable of swinging it like a normal sword and still able to seal people?

Yeah he probably can.

Only those who get's pierced gets sealed if I remember right, so yes. It should be easy to avoid it.

The blade probably sucks in a person so if you only cut them then they won't be sucked in.

If only seals if it stabs/pierces someone. It'd be pretty easy to dodge if the person dodging know how to move left and right.

he can stab big things like the reaper death god or the juubi quite easily, even if they are moving around. Not sure about people though.

He slashed oro 8 headed serpents heads off. So yes he can slash. He obviously pierced oro to seal him. So he can do both

no it has to pierce your body in order to seal because totsuka blade cut off several of oros snake monsters head but they werent seal so no

Its an ethereal blade with no psychical form so of course when it moves it does not have to be swung the way all material blades have to swing.

Nagato had trouble moving his legs if you would recall so he couldn't get out of the way and orochimaru is virtually invincible so he thought he would be fine although he had no idea he was standing still for the tsotsuka blade.
