Questions about the Gold and Silver Brothers...

The Gold and Silver Brothers got involved with the second hokage twice. The first being when they organized a coup de tat during the peace treaty between the cloud and leaf. They left tobirama at near death. Then the second time they were supposedly apart of the Kinkaku force that killed the second hokage. my question is. Was there always 18 other people with them those 2 times? The kinkaku force is of the cloud. Later on they were considered criminals and fugitives by the cloud. How could they be on the kinkaku force if they attacked their own guys? That would be like if nagato joined the Anbu of the leaf after he just obliterated the village.

We have no idea whether Kinkaku and Ginkaku where a part of the division that killed Tobirama at all, [Although I do find it likely] so no one's going to be able to answer this with certainty. However, I think it's quite safe to say that the twins didn't rebel alone, so if they were indeed a part of the division that killed Tobirama, I guess it's a possibility that those who rebelled alongside them accompanied them, although I don't find it very likely.

As I recall, Tobirams comments they are master bounty hunters from Kumogakure. While you may go rogue, you'd still have the patterns and actions of your home country. As a result, I would imagine that despite leaving Kumogakure, they still moved like Kumogakure shinobi. Tobirama possibly deducing his information based on familiar chakra, numbers he detected, and the fact they were being targeted.
