Questions about sasukes chibaku tensei and rinnegan powers

So I did a vs debate about whether sasuke can beat kinshiki. Someone said he can just use coreless chibaku tensei. I said he can't because if he could he would've used it against him, Naruto, Sakura, Kaguya, Momoshiki, Kinshiki, and Shin. He said it was simply plot.

But to be honest, it's not like any of Sasuke's other powers were nerfed, he still used Amaterasu, PS Susanoo, ameno, and chakra absorption against Naruto. Clearly there's some kind of prerequisite for coreless CT to work.

(Personally I think coreless chibaku tensei doesn't belong in vs debates. We don't know enough about it; does the victim need to be restrained/in genjutsu for it work?)

What do you guys think? Can someone just go around clapping his hands and soloing ninjas or can he?

I doubt it, Kishi still allowed him to have ameno, amaterasu, and all his other hax powers which are just as OP. I think you need to restrain the victim.

Against Kinshiki, Momoshiki, and Naruto? That seems unlikely. He still maintained all his other powers. I think he needs to restrain the enemy for it to work.

Naw he's pretty experienced he's had it for 15 years which is more than enough time to master chibaku tensei etc. He showed growth with all the other rinnegan powers he possesses. Again, I think the victim must be restrained first.

But lets say he was nerfed, that means its a permanent nerf because its the only possible way him and naruto can be equal. If he was granted coreless CT he would be leagues about Naruto

He only used CT once so we don't know for sure. And the genjutsu on the Bijuu's could have been so they don't try and resist/break free and cause Sasuke strain of making the CT stronger. So it's 50/50.

You can also still use it in a vs regardless if the coreless CT is/was caused by genjutsu it'll still work in a vs fight. Even a small and weak genjutsu would be enough time to use CT on the person and by time they break out it'll be to late.

I don't think there's a relation between genjutsu and chibaku tensei, Sasuke probably put the tailed beasts under a genjutsu so that they would not resist besides nine tailes was already attacking Sasuke.
Chibaku tensie is related to deva path not genjutsu

Yes and no. Yes in the sense that, once under his rinnegan or sharingan genjutsu you wouldn't be able to move and then there would be no way for you to bust out (in the tailed beasts case) No in that Its not a justu that anyone or anything can break out of with ease. ig.

True, we really don't know enough about it to use it in vs battles though. And I think he would need to use a very strong genjutsu, strong enough to paralyze the opponent for it to work. I don't even think he needs gejutsu just anything to create a chakra link like susanoo arrows or lightning spear.

We don't know if he can or has those abilities so there is no way for me to answer that. Obito and Madara didn't use them at all so maybe only some people have them?

Either way, that's not enough to say he's inexperienced at Rinnegan just because he doesn't have all the powers. His control over the Rinnegan was very fast, he learned many of its powers in less than a day after gaining it. Logically over 15 years he would have mastered it

But thats irreleavant. Over 15 years sasuke should have mastered the ability to use coreless CT. Logically he would just clap his hands and win all the fights. But he can't, why? Because like I said, he has to restrain the opponent. Either that or it was a permanent nerf. Choose one

as you said yourself, victim needs to be under sasuke's control. He can make a core out of anything that is under his control and by feats, he needs to genjutsu his opponent first.
