By calling on his esoteric teachings, it uses his fangs to bite and inject a person with natural energy. According to the legend, if the body can withstand the snake-ification, the White Snake Sage will accept it without reservation.

This is pretty much the same method Orochimaru uses for CM.

So does this basically means that Orochimaru's body is the result of his failing to get SM? And after he did experiments on himself to mimic (cheap imitation) the white snake sage's ability to place Nature Energy into victims? :|

If so, shouldn't he still be able to use Senjutsu since animals are one with nature?

Couldn't this also mean that Orochimaru biting u, and giving u CM is pretty much him getting your body to become his vessel? (Takes away free will, upon being put in his Genjutsu snakes come out of u to help him with the process of taking u over)

Lastly if all of these are true is it possible that the erosion of the vessel Orochimaru experiences ever 3 years a result of him placing his body (which contains senjutsu chakra) into a vessel that is not capable of utilizing senjutsu ? (Using CM which came from Orochimaru breaks down the body so placing the source of that power into a vessel would be enough to kill someone in a few years)

when orochi took back his powers from Kabuto, Kabuto woke up still in SM

Kabuto went through snakeification :| because of that he can still use DSM. Not only that if I am not mistaken. Initially when Orochimaru took his chakra back the marks disappeared from Kabuto's eyes. Meaning Orochimaru also took Kabuto's stored Nature energy.

Orochimaru's body was too weak to use SM, but he does know how to gather natural energy.

Yes he can use senjutsu, not sure what the latter part of your sentence means.

Basically, Oro wanted a body strong enough; most likely one that could withstand the senjutsu, not just his curse mark, so the curse mark was probably the first hurdle for candidates.

Possibly. It's assumed that a prime host would allow him to stay longer, although it could be the fact that Orochimaru is forcefully inside someone's else body with the older user(s) still around (albeit suppressed).

The part about the body lasting 3 years makes 100% sense but it no longer applies to him since his body is a Zetsu clone.
