Questions about Kamui

Kamui... Wtf??? I just realized how is Obito alive if he uses kamui? I remember when he was still Tobi toying with k11. Naruto tried to rasengan him from behind, and Obito sent his stomach area to the kamui dimension.. How the fk is he alive if his stomach(meaning his internal organs also) got sent to another dimension. Or how when he fought Minato he kamui'd his head techincally the dude was headless for a brief period of time doesn't that = instant death? And if Kamui sends your body parts to another dimension how come his body parts are still visible when he sends it to the kamui dimension?

maybe because his stomach still existed.....only in different dimension,but it still existed and functioned....idk common sense doesnt always apply in mangas XD
