[Question] Questions about Angel Beats

I'm up to the 4th episode of Angel Beats and I don't get it at all.

1) Are they students at the school? I've never seen them go to class or anything.

2) They are afraid of getting obliterated, but as far as I can tell, Angel has never tried to obliterate them. What would cause them to get obliterated?

3) Shouldn't Angel hunt them down since they keep, oh I don't know, shooting at her with freaking guns in the middle of the school?

2. *Ill try not to spoil you*. Angel is the Student Body Presiden in that school. And since she is, sheist force atudents to do school work. But in doing normal school work, souls like Otonashi will het obliterated since they did the things they did not achieved when they are atill alive.

They are supposed to be, it all gets explained later on why they are there.
They're just rebelling ATM.

They think that Tenshi can cause them to get obliterated.
Later on in the series they will also explain what it really means to get obliterated.

That's what Tenshi is doing.

Won't tell you too much since it's spoiling, but it's a great series and I'll be disappointed in you if you don't tear up or at least have a ton of feels flowing through your body by the end of the series.
