Do people actually have a justifiable reason(s) for loathing Boruto other than;

Boruto has no sense of danger
Boruto has no intensity within the plots.
Boruto has a slow pace.
Boruto has so much fillers.
Boruto has no interaction with the old generation.
Boruto has no action.

You know something like;

Boruto has no character development
Boruto has plots filled with contradictions.
Boruto has a terrible animation.
Boruto has zero world building.
Boruto has a predictable plot.
Boruto has a slow plot (not slow pace as is the manga).

Because, from what I've seen, people loath Boruto because of reasons that has nothing to do with evaluating a series, but has everything to do with evaluating a series through retrospection.

The problem with boruto is the anime. If boruto from the start adapted the manga it would be 100x more liked and there will always be hype. not alot of people read the manga. the anime should be careful because with what it's doing now it's ruining the series

Boruto will never be Naruto.

That's the problem. Thinking it will never be Naruto brings the occasional comparison to Naruto. Expectedly, the mind would isolate the attributes that made Naruto to be loved, looking out for it be characterized by Boruto. When it isn't, the result is hate.

Boruto should never try to be like Naruto.

The Boruto series itself has potential if Boruto is replaced as the main character and the writers actually get a grip on things.

Thing i like about Boruto Anime and Manga:

world building(anime and manga)
Variety of techs with all the Genin
Decent side character development (anime)
Transition of Anime only Characters and arcs into the manga
Ninja tech VS Ninjutsu (yeah I actually like this)
Expansion upon the world outside the ninja villages like the Daimyo and his son. And the ninja who can’t except price time and are causing trouble.

Things I Dislike Anime and Manga:

The monthly wait for an issue leaving the anime to make tons of “filler episodes”
Boruto’s personality
All the Genin are a little too good at everything
Lack of a proper villain(still hopeful on Kara and Kawaki eventually)
Lackluster(or lack there of) ambition.

People need to take their nostalgia goggles off and realize Boruto is NOT Naruto. It’s just built off of the Naruto universe.differnt writer differnt artist differnt story.

It is not actually the series people dislike according to my opinion. It is the main MC. He is annoying to be honest. The anime needs a bit more improvement in the animation and cinematic effects like in Shippuden. But I love the Manga's Art. Every thing is fine except for that kid who walks around with no sense of goal or ambition.
