Hey people !! It's been a while since I last logged in. Anyway, onto the question:

Is the Fairy Tail Manga over cuz I read some comments about its "last" arc on some anime websites. Please do answer without giving out any spoilers. Thanks !

No it's over and I doubt his is the last arc, there's still other stuff that need to happen

No it's not over nor the last arc. There is many stuff left and i doubt it will be over in 1-2 arcs.

Idk....maybe they end season 2 in this tartarus arc and start next arc as season 3.....

Nope. Everything you heard about FT manga is nearing it's end and 'this arc is going to be a last one in FT...' along those lines are just rumours made by some FT fans. That is it. There is neither actual source nor any confirmation from Mashima sensei that FT is nearing it's end.Unless Mashima makes an announcement FT has long way to go.

Talking about anime........Currently it is Tartarus arc that is airing. This arc is going to be a long arc in the FT anime which is going to be end in January. The entire tartarus arc has been animated and now I suppose the anime cast and production unit are busy in the production of upcoming FT Movie_2.While I am at it I want to say that Jiemma Vs Rogue and Sting is going to be animated just like how Mashima wished it would have been done in the manga.Like I have already said there are some parts in the tartarus arc manga which Mashima had to cut off due to the limit of the chapters an arc can upto.Yes, Editor is behind it like he once did with Fantasia Chapter long back.

I don't know what will the fate of FT anime after the end of tartarus arc. We might knew about it when Tartarus arc is nearing it's end. It is all upto Mashima whether he wants to continue the anime or take another hiatus like he did back in 2013.
