In the latest Naruto, Sasuke, and Itachi character sketches (or designs?) that were just released.

To jog back the memory, Sasuke is holding his sword out, Naruto has his Rasengan, and Itachi is soloing them both at the same time.

The question is:

Naruto's chakra color is orange, and was the color shaded around him

Sasuke's chakra color is purple, and was the color shaded around him

Itachi's chakra color is ... pink, and it was the color shaded around him? Is that true? I don't see any valid reason for him to draw him pink.

I don't think this has anything more to do with the colors of their chakra than it does with the colosr of their clothes

purple and orange creates that hot pink color that Bolt has on the insides of his jacket. Hinata has the same color as Sasuke, chakra wise. Kishi is probably did this to say that Naruto and Sasuke are connected to Itachi. The three unofficial brothers.. something along these lines

Interesting, his Rasengan is colored yellow but his outer body is colored orange. Probably something to do with Kurama (Orange/Yellow?)

Nah the dark colors always went to the Uchiha who fell into depravity. Itachi was always represented with a warm color

Well Sasuke's Susanoo was purple So that explains his color.

Itachi's Susanoo was red wasn't it?

Maybe Kishi couldn't find a red highlighter so he went with the closest color available. :sdo:
