How many infracts would one have to get to be ultimately banned from a section?

Or are there other reasons why this can happen, like too many troll threads etc​

There's no definitive number of infractions required for a section ban. If a number of sources point to a member disrupting a particular section, say, a member making thread after thread bashing FT in the FT section, then an admin may ban them exclusively from the FT section. Ultimately, it comes down to the admins' discretion, as only they can issue section bans.​
