How many seasons of Sword art Online are there? I finished the first season and I'm just curious if there is more seasons?

There are also light novels to read.

Season 1 was volume 1 through 4, season 2 will be novel 5 and 6.

Volume 7 will hopefully be adapted into an anime next year or the year after that, volume 8 will most likely either be bundled with volume 7 or made into an OVA.
Volume 9 through 14 will take forever....... but it's going to be awesome.

It'll probably take 2-5 years before they start making the newer volumes into anime so you should really read it if you're into this series.
