You can post a poll in any thread you have made by clicking on thread tools, and you click add poll.

You can add a poll to every thread you make. Just enable the option 'Post a Poll', when you are in the Advanced screen, which you can find under ''Additional options' under your text box. Alternatively you can click on 'Thread Tools' and enable 'Add a poll to this thread' if the thread has already been made.
