Why do people think kabuto gave obito the edo jins?
Wouldn't it be logical for him to automatically have them considering the fact that he (akutsuki included) had to hunt them down while they were alive and (in the process of removing the biju) kill them?
Even if kabuto reanimated them via edo they were controlled via rinnegan and outer path(i think, idk which path it is). Them being reanimated wasn't really needed.

Good point, but I think Kabuto reviving them gave Obito the benefits like Unbeatable bodies and limitless chakra.

They had the cracks on their faces like the other Edo Tensei revive-ees...

Then the eyes were transmitted/ transplanted to give Tobi control.

Obito didn't have Edo Tensei; he had Kabuto do it, though he already had the bodies.

I know kabuto edo'd them but many people think kabuto found the bodies and gave it to them in edo form.
Obito originally had the bodies and controlled them(even though they were edo) via rinnegan, so he was still losing chakra.

As for the unlimited/undying bodies...They're jins.... their chakra is already ridiculously high and there's a path that can restore their bodies.
Obito most likely outfitted them with sharingan and the rinnegan appears in all things controlled by the black rods.

Of course it was wiser to revive them via Edo Tensei. Their chakra reserves restored automatically instead of Obito wasting his own chakra on 'em
