Why are you guys doubting and underestimating Sasuke? :shrug: He is one of the most talented geniuses in the manga. Sure he can be hot headed like when he went up against Danzo but easily stepped back and went to his old calculating genius self.

He has defeated over and over again opponents more experienced and skilled.

Danzo: highly skilled intelligent

Itachi hasn't given Sasuke a chance to even defend himself. In the Kabuto vs Uchiha Bros It's obvious Itachi is just being overprotective because he is already dead.
