Question: why is it that sometimes i get a rep it increase's more then other times.

why is it that sometimes i get rep points, my total number of rep points go up by more htan just one, or like go up by more points then other times when i get repped? like just a little while ago I had like 64 rep points, then i got like 1 rep and my total rep went to like 79

i think, the one who repped you got lots of rep points to give. thats why ur rep points have increased that much.

example:

User A has only 10 reps, repped u gives one rep point

User B has 20 reps, repped u gives u twice as much rep pts.

I think that's how it works.

Could have something to do with which forum section you get repped in, total reps like Chiq mentioned, number of green bars you have, forum bugs.. and staff probably give extra rep.

That depends of the rank of the user, a normal member gives x rep points, an admin gives 100x rep points etc.

LOL someone just repped me just so they could ask me how many rep point's they gave me. Rep=2 in this case.

It's based on how many posts the person who repped you made.

Someone with 10 posts will give, for example 1 point.
Someone with 100 posts will give you 10 points.

It's only an example, these are not the real numbers. O__O

u mean a user has a MINIMUM of 10 reps to start with? coz i started out with 10 reps and i got more than that now.

Someone repped me and it only added 1 point. Someone repped me and it had increased by another 2 or 3.

So it does depend on the user's rep points.

I dont know about that feature "thanks".
