Can anyone tell me what happened to the little girl's mom? I can't even tell or find it. The censorship is 10 times more disgusting then the actual gore itself. This is actually starting to piss me off and I would really like to know.

Do you know what pisses me off? The way the rushed and butchered the series. They skipped important parts of the plot and very important character development that are important to the main structure of the entire series. They also put in so many unnecessary filler scenes. The censorship is probably the worst thing about it since it affects both anime only and manga viewers.

If you're not reading the manga, I recommend you read it, 10/10

They used the kagune of her husband to kill her. I believe it was decapitation.

Umm in the manga she is just cut down, she doesn't put up too much of a fight. She get's killed by her husband's body weapon, which is made from his body, meaning he is also dead. Ultimately the only take her body weapon (stuff on her back) and make that into the investigators weapons. Not sure on her body, probably just disposed of via cremation or experimentations. They have plenty of labs, the investigators, to dissect the capture ghouls.
