i voted for him in 2012. id do it again over any right wing nut job.
i knew eventually he'd be hated and his approval would drop bc the world and economy is so messed up and we lazy humans demand results right away.
he cant do everything by himself, and theres congress being lazy.
i stopped paying attention to news anyway. i dont care anymore. the name calling and egotistical politicians who love being on camera made me bored of it.

haters gonna hate!
the guy is damned if he does, damned if he doesnt..

I think most of us decided he was the best of the candidates, however, I'm not particularly fond of him as President, but I do believe he does his best.

He reaches to make certain things politically charged, so that he and his party looks good, when he shouldn't even be focusing on the left or the right wing.

Also, responsibility is an issue. He has a fault that many leaders have. When things are going good, he will seek to put in his claim for successful policy. When disaster hits, he tries to put the blame somewhere else. He is supposed to be the image of our country, however, it seems like he runs away from accountability when something happens. Whether it was his fault or not, he seeks to make himself look best at all times, which speaks about his character of leadership to me as well as priorities.

Overall, I don't particularly like him as President, but a smart man and hopefully he is doing his best. I just think politics are always the first thing on his mind and it has gotten in the way of times when he could have showed great leadership.

I like him, he just gets more hate because he's black. Which doesn't surprise me at all.

But in reality he has to clean up the last presidents mess and try to set things for the future. Once he's not president people will say that he was a good one watch.

I'll admt much of the African American community probably voted for him because he was black but he is nowhere near the best president but nowhere near the worst either. If you actually take time to think about his situation you would understand his position a little more. He has been scrutinized by Congress more than any other president in our history. I can literally recall a time when it was said he was too weak of a president because Congress won't work with him and he doesnt attempt to utilize more power, but when he did he was labeled too strong and said to misuse his power when they criticized him for reaching out to congress in the first damn place. How many congressional lockouts, goverment shutdowns have we had in his presidency compared to others? You can answer that yourself. Congress has mad a mockery of equality and government this entire time and its embarrassing. Congress is willing to deny anything he puts forth whether they agree on it or not. Being on this base I dont have time to go all debate mode so no facts today but if you've watched the news you would understand in this hostile environment where Congress is hostile against (I hate to use this) a black male who is also a democrat what chance does he have thriving in that environment of white Republican males over their forties. Fact-Racism is still alive and well, even though we made progress do not fall into the premise that it does not exist. Fact-Democrats and Republicans alike have stopped mediating and compromising with each other and became high profiled gangs only worried about satisfying future voters, and party support for re-election. The election is whats on their mind not the well being of the people and this is also in part to Radical Tea Party members in the party providing a split and gaining more power in the GOP leading to more radical conservitive action from Rep. Dem are doing the same so this divsion does not help as the parties are split more now then ever. Even maybe more than during the Reconstruction (1800s) period of America. With Congress down his throat, and his inherited situation (which has been developing even before Bush) it didnt surprise me. All this shows is the childishness of our gov't and they're inability to change with the times. Corruption in high places. Always has been always will be. So I give him B- and C- at the absolute least. So my question is why do you dislike him as he hasnt done anything that is deserving of hate and harsh criticsm of being the WORST.

#PresidentGarfieldwastheworstpresident.

He's okay in my opinion, I would like more done however he is fixing Bush's failures as president. I believe he won a noble peace prize during his presidency ( I may be wrong) so evidently he is doing something.

Yes Washington bipartisan cooperation is by some standards on a new historic low

But it's all Obama's fault, Congress has absolutely nothing to do with policy because the US is a dictatorship

"Our top political priority over the next two years should be to deny pres Obama a second term" Sound familiar? How the f can you get anything done with clowns like that?

Both Democrats and Republicans have had and have outstanding politicians but unfortunately they are being shouted down by clowns (more so in the republican party in the recent years ... Tea party, but You Democrats shouldn't be to high and mighty, you have had your share of "tea parties" but the difference is no one elected them to the highest offices in the legislative branch)

Tbh I feel that the general distain and disinterest in politics is doing more harm than politicians

The American people made a few very convincing arguments against democracy, not the least of which is electing Bush over Gore :/
