Question/Theory/Prediction about Bringer of darkness

Bringer of darkness is a power genjutsu that makee thee oponent completely blind ,not matter how skill the oponent .

The only user were the first hokage and the second hokage.

Question

I wonder if that technique was used against madara to slow him down or even kill him?

Theory
1.I feel madara use inzangi to escape the first hokage attack when he use the bringer of darkness but madara was still blind from the jutsu .He decided to give Nagato his eyes because it was useless for him.He maybe die afterward or get another eye by the die being

Prediction
.The moon eye project must be completed and tobi need both 8 and 9 tail .If the 10 tail donot form then the world war arc will be a failure.Naruto a nd killerbe could both possibly be extracted( tobi extracted killerbe and naruto etracted by sasuke).However i feel naruto will survive the etraction like his mom but he will get a little more serious losing to sasuke againHe will know what he against ,so he will prepare.I think naruto might learn bringer of darkness after he realise that if was effect against madara when the first hokage used it.However it will not successful against sasuke because his ems eyes is different from madara b ecause it can see through darkness

naruto will get the yang chakra from the ninetail from unlocking the death reaper and use it with the store kyubi chakra he had in the big bubble thing ( i will find the link) to beat sasuke

sasuke only ying ,so i think naruto with the chakra he have stored from thee ninetail for his KM will fuse with the other half of the ninetail chakra to get both ying and yang together

I do not see Naruto ever learning a technique like that. He is too dumb. He is more of the invasive kind where he would try to outstamina his opponent not use genjutsu. But nice theory though.

i just havee a fling that naruto and sasuke will havee 2 figh,The first fight will be a wake up call for naruto to get serious

There are many ways to counter this genjutsu.
As its been said the opponent needs a hit on the user to end it.

Sarutobi demonstrated this by creating kage bunshins. This increases the opponents offence but also his defence. For example by creating kage bunshin you offence is increased in the sense that you have more of a possibility of gaining contact with your opponent as sarutobi demonstrated. It increases your defensive capabilities in the sense that by creating clones, the chances of the user successfully hitting you is reduced.

Another way to counter this technique is if you are either a sensor or s/t user. By placing your hand on the floor you should be able to tell where the opponent it. Also sensor types should be able to tell where the user is. Sm naruto or km naruto shouldnt have this problem.

Now banshou tennin should also end it, because you are attracting the user to you therefore a hit should end it.

Shinra tensei should also end it. If you are able to shinra tensei ther entire area within tthe genjutsu, its bound to get in contact with the user, thus breaking it
