question related to bumping fist thingy

so minato and naruto are bumping fists and i assume that they have to stay in that state. so does that mean naruto will be the one doing fighting because, minato does not have another hand and he cant do ninjutsu with legs. if thats so, y does't he just give naruto his rightfull pet?
