Question regarding shisui's eye

Danzo had Shisui's eye when fighting Sasuke, and he knew how to use Kotoamatsukami. But had to wait a while before he could use Kotoamatsukami eye again after the summit. But at the end of the fight Shisui's eye was activated again. So the question begs, why didn't Danzo use it? Kotoamatsukami has a wide range, he could have cast it on Sasuke and Obito at the same time. Or cast it on Sasuke making him fight Obito, or vice versa, cast it on Obito and make him fight Sasuke. Thus tag teaming him, then Sasuke would be chanceless.

This must be a huge plothole?

Actually after he took Karin hostage, he was about to use KA on either Tobi or Sasuke but before he could Sasuke used the chidori spear.

Obviously plot wise, Kishi couldn't have him use it as it would screw up the story. Haha using KA on Sasuke could have changed the Indra/Ashura fate

No he could use it. Actually even more than Shisui since he had Senju DNA and could use KA every couple of hours unlike Shisui who could only use it one every 10 years. He used it on Mifune during the 5 Kage summit.

It was on cooldown up until one point in the fight. And by the time he could use it again, he had to decide on either using it on Madara, Sasuke or throwing the eye away with Izanagi
He took Karin as a hostage to gain time to make his deicision but was raiton stabbed through his heart

Because Danzo was slow to act, and Sasuke took advantage of his lack of initiative. He could have KA'd Tobi for the win.

KA is usually a one-shot that can be used once every ten years and requires for the user to look at the target's eyes, it can only be used on one person per shot.

But in Danzo's case, since he had Hashirama's DNA, it could be used once every few hours. He said that he didn't want to use it on Sasuke because he was saving it for Tobi after the fight.
