then i'd love to see how you explain the 2 different MS patterns that can be seen in both EMS pairs. Madara even made a statement in his fight against the Gokage that said the eyes are fused. Going further back, Itachi also mentioned to Sasuke that EMS is formed when a pair of MS from 2 siblings are fused together.

It was Sasuke's body that obtained rikudou chakra and Itachi's left eye awaken the rinnegan.

So itachi's eye may awaken the tomoe rinnegan in the left eye because of this:

This speculation could be viable in the case that Sasuke got both Rinnegans but only one of the Rinnegans had tomoes in it. But Sasuke's Rinnegan is equivalent to Madara's Rinnegan, just a slightly evolved and special version due dominant Yin characteristics of Sage's chakra whereas Madara had the neutral Sage's chakra. This could be the reason of that difference.

Itachi's eyes are a tool just like Kurama is to Naruto and akamaru to kiba. Just because Naruto and kiba's are living entities doesn't change the fact they are tools that boost power.

Itachi's eyes are permanently in effect within sasuke, he can no longer "solo", as his power is not his own but the combined power/tools of another. Naruto simply has the better tool because his is living and he can interact with Kurama.

Itachi's eyes are replacement of sasuke's eyes, it doesn't boost power nor chakra. That is like naruto's right arm which is a replacement of his old one even if it gives him hashi's ability. And of course no one whining about hashi's arm like itachi's eyes :lol:
