Question on sigs

So am i allowed to use a picture on deviantart and edit it on photobucket and add stuff like i did to my original sig, if no then how do i make one with out using someones picture


for example this the original pic that is just cut brightened or whatever you guys call it and added text

Yeah you can. People take sigs straight off of google images and no one says anything

To make your own you could use Photoshop or Gimp. There are also photo manipulation programs online

im not sure, but it would be nice if you credited the person you borrowed it from, because they prob dont even know you are using it.. i dont think you're not allowed to or anything like that tho..

Some people change their sigs more often than their rolls of toilet paper, so going through all the formalities might bother some popular artists even more. Google Images does a decent job finding similar images and most people know how to use it.

Credit them if you want, but many signatures contain so many stock images that you'd have to fill them with text only to be able credit everyone. xd

Well I dont bother asking anyone if I knew someone in this website, I just come in to see my favorite anime and read few post when I have nothing to do. Thanks for the tip.

That's one of the coolest pics ever, nice attempt at the sig too. Always nice to see people trying to learn photoshop. I'm no professional or anything but at least I taught myself everything I know about sig making. Keep it up!
