Alright, I was re-reading through some old manga chapters, namely the fight between Kabuto against Sasuke & Itachi, and came across a very puzzling dialogue.
After Kabuto releases his Sage Mode, he performs Sage Art: White Rage Technique. The Uchiha perceive the technique's deterring effects, then Kabuto goes on his rant:
Kabuto clearly states two things:
1. The Hozuki Clan's technique lets him move freely by liquefying his body
2. Sage Mode allows him to move freely because of the relationship between White Rage and Sage Mode, and also because of the snake brill.
So, what allows Kabuto to move freely/not feel the effects of his own technique -- his body modifications via the Hozuki Clan's Hydrification Technique or his Sage Mode (snake brill and tough body)? I'm really confused and any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
