question for kcm naruto

so back when ay hit him kcm naruto was like another attack like that he would die or soemthing lethal like that. but when fighting the jin's he tanked 5 tbb's like it was nothing. can someone explain this to me or have i just (so late may i add) stumbled upon one of kishi's many **** ups?
