Question concerning the Izanami

Hey guys, so i looked through the internet trying to find my answer, but I never did so I resorted to coming onto here. So heres my question, does the Izanami affect non-chakra users?hmm It might've been answered before, but I dont know. I went through the wiki of the jutsu, and all I got from it was that it affects the target through physical sensations shared between them and the user. And yes I do realize regular genjutsus affect only those who have chakra. But this is a forbidden genjutsu technique. So I was wondering if its like the Infinite Tsukuyomi, and effects non-chakra users. Thanks everyone!*_*

Everyone has chakra..it's just that some people have less than others..otherwise the genjutsu itachi used on the women to tempt Jiraiya wouldn't have worked.

why would you use izanami on non chakra users? isnt that totally pointless?

Every living thing in the naruto verse has chakra. Even plankton. I don't see why izanami or any genjutsu wouldn't affect any living thing

Well according to itachi izanami works regardless of the senses I doubt it also has to do with chakra as well. Izabami just directly affects your perception and brain as a whole shutting down your nervous system ir to a lesser extent putting you in a stasis so to speak so no it's regardless of chakra. IT affects all LIVING things I mean I'm sure hagoromo never shared chakra with a cat so cat's don't have chakra and a cat was under the genjutsu everything from microscopic insects with eyes to large creatures such as whales are under IT.

izanami is genjutsu ; genjutsu only affects ppl with a chakra network =>izanami only affects ppl with a chakra network

so I suppose it could affect non-chakra users with a chakra network

Which is true, but he's referring to non chakra things. Every living thing may have chakra yes but before the kaguya there was no chakra but she still used henjutsu to control people as hagoromo said and the only people with chakra at the time was hagoromo, hamura and kaguya before hagoromo shared his chakra. So yes it will still work
