So I went to the common questions/suggestions thread and saw the topic on threads, but I couldn't get a clear enough answer to my question. The small print below is the Questions/Suggestions rules on Threads.

"My thread has been deleted/moved.
Where is my thread?
Duplicate threads

Any thread a member creates must be made in the correct section and must not be a duplicate of a thread recently created.

If it's a question about the forum it goes under 'Questions and Suggestions' if it's a fun thread for chatting it goes under the 'Chatterbox'

A thread may be moved/deleted for any of these reasons:
- It does not follow forum rules
- It has not been created in the correct section
- It is a duplicate thread

In order to keep track of certain threads you can always subscribe to them by clicking on the subscribe button which is located in the top right corner of any thread.

This option will notify you when a new post has been made in that thread.

To keep track of threads that you have created yourself go to your profile and click on the 'Statistics' tab followed by 'Find all threads started by {your NB name}'

If you still have problems make sure you contact a member of the Staff " --Narutobase

So my question is as follows: Is there any way to bring up an old thread so that it can be seen once again in order to allow a larger number of people see the thread (without having to make a duplicate thread as that violates the rules)?!

I was hoping to find a way to let more people see two theories I had recently made, but due to the times I posted both threads (during the late evening hours for an Eastern Standard Time), people who may get on only during the afternoon (for an Eastern Standard Time) would not be able to see them?!

I guess if someone could clarify exactly how that can happen, or if I'm simply "Out of Luck" I'd appreciate it! Thanks ^.^

You can bump a thread, but you aren't supposed to repost it.

Edit:

Bumping Dead Topics: Bumping a topic that has not been posted in over a month is considered SPAM. If a specific forum's rules note a different time frame for classifying a thread as "dead", that is the time frame that you are to follow. One month is the standard time frame for classifying threads as "dead"

I guess you could VM your friends with links to your threads like everyone seems to to do me. But I wouldn't do that too often as it does get rather annoying. Also, whether that is against the rules is beyond me.

Okay, here's how it works. If the thread's last post is 30<days old posting in the thread will be considered resurecting it, that's bumping and against the rules. As long as the last post was made less than 30 days ago, there is a way to 'resurect' it and it's not considered bumping, merely by replying to a few posts in it etc etc (<-not by creating spam, say something on topic)
I don't think re-creating threads of a non-generic topic is a good idea.
(eg. 'What's your favorite KG' has been created countless times, not that this is any fun, but a prediction thread is not that common to be recreated, unless things have been added to it)
All in all I wouldn't suggest reposting a copy of a thread you made in the past at all, if you can still bump it and be safe with it (latest reply being less than a month old) then sure try and do that, it's not against any rules and probably wont bother anyone, but if it's older then it had its days of 'fame' and I wouldn't recommend remaking it.
Also don't forget, if you want to show more people, you can always link those interested... ;/
