Question about training for sage mode..

Is the toad oil a riquement for training purposes?
Do you need the oil? I've been reading nonstop but I cannot come to any type of consensus on my own.

It just makes it easier/faster to learn TSM but I think you run the risk of turning into a frog if you fk up.
