I always thought Tobi created Akatsuki (by manipulating Nagato).

So why this scene after Sasoris death with the ring ?

Why he needed that stupid ring to join Akatsuky ? What was he before that ?

That's loong time, when Tobi just joked with everyone. I remember I readed that, never expected him to be my favorite character xd

Good question but I think he created but they didn't know because yahiko created the group with madara/tobi influence and nobody else new about it I guess

I guess so he took another identity and then wanted to gain control over it again maybe

Tobi control Akatsuki within its shadows while also observing their movements to prevent betrayal or his plans from going south. Joining, his already created group, also made his movements for his "Moon Eye" Plan flexible, which enable him to move around freely. Its just a guess. Also, Tobi manipulated Yahiko in to creating Akatsuki.

In this scan, is Tobi talking to himself?

Oneside says "Tobi is a Good boy"

The Other side says "Hey..."

Then right above Tobi, Kishi shows Black&White Zetsu having a conversation with themselves... Foreshadowing?

Also notice the ring falls through Tobi's hands.. WTF is going on in this scan....

The Original founder of Akatsuki is dead = Yahiko.

Only Yahiko and Nagato and Konan Knew about Tobi being their commander.

Also Zetsu and Tobi worked way way before Akatsuki even excisted.
