Question About the Tobirama

I remember that it was said that the Gin/Kin brothers ambushed a peace treaty between 2nd raikage/hokage that nearly left the hokage in death state, but this isn't the same event that was later followed by danzo's flashback in which tobirama chose hiruzen as hokage and later fell to the kinkaku force?

I don't think these events are linked but just asking and i am aware that the force of elite that defeated may or may not have had the brothers, but just wanted to confirm

Yep, look back and it read that during a coup, fighting the Gin and Kin Bro's left him near death state and during the first war, he was surrounded by twenty elite Kumo ninja known as the Kinkaku Force and after giving the title of Hokage to Hiruzen, Tobirama went off to fight the enemies where he presumably died a noble death.

Tobirama did get ambushed at Kumogakure during peace treaty talks by Gin and Kin. He was left to die, but lived and returned to Konohagakure. Soon after that he went with his squad to battle, then "The Kin and Gin Squad" killed him. A lot of people think Madara killed him though.

The reason people think it was Madara is because Hiruzen + Tobirama + Danzo + the rest could have taken on 20 Elite Jounin. Plus Kagami Uchiha was with them, and Tobirama did not want Madara influencing the rest of the Uchiha at Konoha to do a coup de tat.

the gold and silver bros ambused the 2nd and left him on the verge of death, and the squad that killed tobirama was comprised of 20 elite ninja a-srank level from kumo. its unknown if the bros were with the team or the 2nd raikage was with him
