Question about the SO6P

Before you answer please keep in mind that I am asking in all seriousness and not just trying to upset people or waste their time.

Why is the SO6P the best ninja ever? I know that he had the rinnegan yes and did he invent jutsu or did he just preach about it? Either way does that necessarily mean he was a master if it was something new? Also does just having the rinnegan make you a true shinobi?

I don't have an opinion myself either way. I'm not sure if he was ever seen fighting so I'm asking. I'd like real answers, not just people trying to be funny if you can help yourselves darlings.

i believe he invented modern jutsu but i really dont know. if i had to guess he probably taught people about chakra and they did the jutsu part

Think about it, the top 5 most poweful persons in naruto series so far: A, Itachi, Nagato/SPOP, ET Madara and minato. None of them could single handedly take down the 9 bijuu at once. the Juubi is all of the Bijuu put into one, and the Sage of Six paths single-handedly defeated it and more than lived to tell the tale. He was able to remove chakra form a body at will and make it into what so ever he wants and other stuff like his "treasures" but thats more than enough to make him the strongest ninja ever in existance.

This thread has been made before. And yes I believe the SO6P is over hyped. I will begin thinking he is beast when the manga shows him in action. Which kishi docent because that would limit his powerline options... So for now Tonton>SO6P well cause Tonton>ninja world or that might just be me...

There is no proof, or evidence of any kind (besides being the 10 tails jinchuuriki) that suggests the SO6P was any more powerful than any character we have met yet. The only reason why he is hyped up as essentially the God of the narutoverse is because he was the FIRST person to harness chakra into "Jutsu" and/or harness the power of a Bijuu. Not to say he isnt powerful for that feat alone, im just saying that the people alive in that time period had never seen anything like him before, thus worshiping him and his new "powers". Its because of this praise, or until we see further evidence, that he is considered to be #1

You don't have to get all smart I know he's "powerful" but he seems more like a magician to me. We haven't seen him fight you know? To me a shinobi know tai, nin, gen, weaponry. What about that stuff?

now put juubi in this haxed shinobi and make him a perfect jinchuriki

now after you have haxed this shinobi soo much

add the creation of all thing jutsu, like him creating the moon, splitting the juubi into nine beast
