Why didn't they save Rodger ????? I mean look at reighlee, he was able to combat kizaru on even grounds easily in retired state .... He surely had been stronger back in those days and who knows who else was on tht ship. I don't understand do you guys have any theories or ideas on why did Rodger pirates let thier capitan die?

like ace's mom. he surrenderd to the gov
but to get back at them and make it so the world balance of power didnt completely go to them
he started the age of pirates.
he also did it cause he knew another d would find his treasure one piece and bring back balance to the world
by balance i mean not currupt gov.
when luffy becomes pk he will hand the government keys to coby
and coby will stop the noble and gov curruption with the pk backing him

ps spoiler roger knew the world nobles formed the world gov during the void. and that they overthrew the real royal world king also during the void.

No, the only reason he gave himself up is so that everyone could hear that the One Piece is hidden and exists, thus starting the pirate age. Otherwise it would have been difficult to spread the word.

The roger pirates disbanded after returning from raftel and conquering the grand line. They all knew roger was terminally ill. They didn't know that he turned himself in voluntarily. They never spoke again after disbanding.

Firstly, we don't know how many of them were even aware of Ace's identity. Secondly, it's the reason why Luffy didn't right away go to save Ace when he realized that Ace was in trouble after having a look at the Vivre Card: Ace has his own adventures and his own friends. Thirdly, WB and the rest of WB Pirates had great ego. They wouldn't want help from someone else to save their Nakama, nor would Ace want it.
