Question About the Moon's Eye Plan

As we know, in order to be put under a genjutsu, one or more senses has to be used. Like looking at Sasuke's eyes, looking at Itachi's ring, hearing Ma and Pa's toad song, etc. So wouldn't the characters fighting Madara be able to avoid being put under IT by simply not looking at the moon? Or am I missing something here?

Um no? I was seriously wondering this. And honestly, no one has been able to give a successful answer. Look at my other post if you really think I am trying to troll people.

I think that you wouldn't necessarily have to be looking directly at the moon to be affected. A genjutsu of this level, I assume that if someone looks at the light of the moon that they will be affected. In other words, that the light contains the chakra that places one into tsukiyomi. And consider, on a full moon, how hard is it to avoid seeing the influence of the moon reflecting light on to the Earth. Anything you can see (aside from human lights) is because of the light from the moon. So the only way to avoid it completely is to stay inside and black out the windows or walk around with your eyes closed. Just a theory of course.
