Question about the crow itachi implanted in naruto

Okay, so I know that Itachi gave Naruto some of his powers (the crow with Shisui's eye) to help Naruto in his possible fight against Sasuke.

But, Itachi later on used it to free himself from Kabuto's edo tensei.

So I wonder if the plan failed or Naruto is still able to use Shisui's eye to cast amatsukomi?

It will take 10 years to regenerate. Itachi didn't used koto amatsukami. It was self triggered like when he gave amaterasu to sasuke. If someone transplants itachi's eyes and if they tries to use mangekyou against naruto then koto amatsukami will be activated.
