And Suigetsu is related to Rikudo Sennin himself. Or at least a direct descendant.

Thats why the Juubi took his personal attention to Sai when he was in the air. He knew Ink Creation of All Things would be troublesome, so he had to eliminate that before Naruto

I liked Sai but then Kishi just had to make him do a 180 after Naruto gave him a little speech. And his social awkwardness doesn't make much sense. I imagine that ninjas would need something like, I dunno, social studies classes so they don't get into precisely the kind of trouble Sai did.

I like the concept of Root, how they are supposed to be emotionless tools and all, but I'll pick Fu and Torune over Sai any day

Sai was my first ever favourite character.

He's just one of the most interesting characters in the manga.
