My question is this, why do so many people on here believe, no they're convinced and would swear on their mothers, that SM Madara used a freezing tech on Sasuke before killing him. They even use it in an argument as to why Madara would beat any character. It was never stated in the manga that he froze him, and wouldn't it make sense for Kishi to state the technique if it were new before killing Sasuke?

I think either Madara used gravitational pull or Sasuke is just fodder.

What are your thoughts?

I figure it was just some variation on Deva paths universal pull technique but instead of actually pulling he just left him where he was.

Madara didn't use any molecular immobilization jutsu on Sasuke. Sasuke was just sloppy, he came head on at an Uchiha, though he probably anticipated that Madara would do that, and will reveal he did it to gain power when he wakes up all juiced up with the Hahsirama chakra and cells, and now that he have both inside of him at the same time, he'll probably be able to metabolize it.

That tech probably a combo of BT(bansho tensei) and ST. (Shinra tensei)...

if you look at the posture of sasuke in that drawing its really obvious that he was stuck and frozen in mid air.!!

and molecular immobilization, dafaq are you talking.??

I just looked it over, and it does appear he did immobilize him.

my guess: he used 51% bansho tennin(pulling) and 49% shinra tensei(pushing). this way he was floating and slowly coming towards madara :p

Madara was using gravitational pull. Sasuke was surprised/scared and therefore dropped his sword. However, when he halted in the air, obviously Sasuke still had the ability to move (he moved his hand and dropped his sword) which is why Madara taunted him for doing nothing to defend himself (he could have put up his susanno possibly) in those few seconds.

Look at all the guessings, its kishi sloppy writing, its not readers job to come up with an explaination while the manga didn't clarify at all

It was Ringa, Kishi doesn't repeat the name of techniques that were stated once before.

Nah not with all these guess. And kishi does repeat. "Rasengan", "chidori". "Amaterasu" are just a few examples
