question about rinnegan....

i have a question to ask so here it is: does rinnegan give the abilities of all chakra natures?

i ask because i remember seeing Nagato master all the chakra natures during his time with Jiraiya, was is because he was born with all natures?
or is it an ability that only the rinnegan can do when awakened?...and being Uzumak ofcourse...


just another question: there is a weapon the the S06P had (the The Bashōsen) which kinda gave the wielder the abilities of all chakra, is that made from the Rinnegan?

Yes, the rinnegan let's you master all 5 chakra natures plus Yin and Yang release. The Sage had 5 weapons that he created but that monk staff he had had not shown up in the manga yet

the rinnegan helps the user to master all elemental affinities and yin-yang release...so basically with the rinnegan one can master ANY ninjutsu except for those which are bloodline related(e.g. Mokuton). Plus we also have some special abilities granted by rinnegan used by the 6 paths of pein. As for SO6P, we don't know much of him and his weapon, but i think kishi will throw some light onto it sometime in future......
