Question about Orochimaru (Please read it all before answering)

I know I post questions and topics about a lot of old stuff guys, but I have trouble letting it go. So please humor me once again.

Remember that time at the Chunin exams when Oro was all like "I'm going to destroy the Leaf Village!" and then licked his own face? Well The Third Hokage did that reaper sealing jutsu on his arms right? Why then if the soul of his arms or w/e was gone was he able to use his arms like a week later? And then with no pain after a new vessel. I know that the new vessel is supposed to be healthy, but they were acting like if the soul was gone then the use of that body part would be gone and Oro freaked out about it himself.

I don't read the manga so I don't know if there was ever an explanation to how the jutsu worked or failed. Does anyone know?

What i want to know is why did he train Sasuke before trying to take control of his body, why didn't he try to take control first?

Orochimaru wanted to keep Sasuke around and occupied a bit longer so that he could use the Soul Transfer Jutsu when the 3 years were up. In around that time Sasuke was power hungry to kill Itachi.

Read the Manga or watch the Anime more. Orochimaru reached he limits after the Third Hokage Seal and maybe he was already at or near his limits before the start of the Series and around the Leaf Invading Arc.

Edited: The Sound Four were sent by Orochimaru to capture Sasuke for his next vessel, but the were late so Orochimaru had no choose but to switch into a new body.

But what you're saying Kichiro is that against Oro, the Third's jutsu was never going to work?

OOhooohhooooo!!!! Thanks for that. Is that said in the manga? I don't remember it obv form the anime and I only watch. Man that's sick. Oro was a demon for sure, I gotta admit I still like him though especially when he was a kid. The Death God Jutsu was going to work, but the Third Hokage didn't have enough strength in him to grab the whole soul of Orochimaru so he pulled out what he can, which is both Orochimaru's arm, to prevent him from using any form of handseals (Jutsu).

Right but it didn't work because he could still use his hands, before he switched vessels and that's what confuses me. But someone said in the transfer it's his mind that transfers not his soul and if that's true then I'll accept his hands continuing to work.

hes used kabuto's arms to do techs. his soul wasent removed only his ability to sommon and do heavy techs.

No way man that's way too much work. I can barely tolerate reading the subs on the anime. But like I said if that's the case then that should be shown in the anime too cos in the anime Oro was handling his business. But even then...I can't say I've ever really seen Oro make that many hand signs anyway. Just starts throwin up out of nowhere. Manga pro, did he even need hand signs? Or is he like the computer on a fighting who cheats and just makes the signs in his head? lol Anyway the question is answered anyway thanks.

i suppose that the soul of the arms belonged to the body and not to the soul in it so finding a new vessel was just fine...or it might be even more minor because it is thought that tsunade could heal him so the damage wasnt that big
