Question About Obitos Eye

So if i recall right, obitos' right eye "survived" the crushing of the rocks... was this ever explained how the eye managed to survive? because shouldn't of it been technically crushed?

If anyone knows the answer id appreciate it haha

He wasn't completely crushed, So his eye problaly luckly wasn't hurt.

If the rock managed to crush his head enough to where his right eye was unusable then chances are his brain was damaged and none of it would matter because Obito would be long gone.
