Question about NB Registration

I don't know where should I put this thread, so I apologize..
My friend registered here a couple of days ago, she received the verification e-mail the same date but when she verified her NB account it said that another verification e-mail or something like that will be sent shortly after, we've waited until that day ended but we haven't received another e-mail from NB until now... My friend can log in her account but couldn't go to her profile or post anything.. she's so upset 'coz she always wanted to be a member too ever since she knew I was a member, she waited so long for the registration to open again.. please help us... THANKS A LOT!! =D

I feel like I had a similar problem when i registered. I had to eventually try again with a different user name until it worked.

thank you for your response... so she only have to register again with another username?? that means she have to get another e-mail address too?

I think I used the same email, but I originally tried to register with "Necromancer4267" and I waited for confirmation for a week at least. Then I tried to register with this username and it only took a day or two. I'm not really sure what happened.

Yep, more than likely.. coy... the email address may not be registering correctly. And that could be, because there are so many different users on this site, all with these different email addresses... Some of em are bound to be a little similar, and therefor maybe confuse the coding. In the case of this, you may have to make a newer, more essentric, email address.

i remember having that issue, i think they take the time to verify it... or something. it took a day or 2 until i could post something.

Registration take 24 hours for confirmation. And when you register you are notified of this fact. Not sure but it may take some time extra for all servers to be ungraded so it may be a little delayed.

If you are still having the problem let me know. Give me or one of the other staff members( preferably general mods) the exact user name for the new account so we can check out the problem if any. Also avoid proxies because using them may get your account banned without any further notice.
