Question About Minato Sage Mode

Im over him having the Sage mode. I understand it was out of nowhere but was used to further the similarities between him and his son and make him seem more diff from Tobirama.

Im also over him calling it Master Jiraiyas sage mode when he had it perfected more than Jiraiya.

What if dont understand is if he knew Sage mode was effective against juubi jins. Why not go into sage mode and attack alongside Naruto and Sasuke? Or while they had him distracted he could appear with Tobirama and deliver some kind of dnice rasengan ftg combo.

Dont give me the oh they're the main characters. They were up against a basically invincible being.

I agree with you. I always knew Minato having Sage Mode due to Naruto battled against Pain. However, the reason why Kishi made him used Sage Mode against Rikudo Madara and NOT Juubito was because he couldn't maintain it and Naruto was better at him using Sage Mode, that's a fact.
BTW, Minato entrusted Naruto to use SM, but the thing I don't get it, was.. Why did not Minato used it to strengthen Naruto's Sage Mode as well?
I think the reason is simple, Kishi wanted to do the plot.

It would have taken too much time, so he'd be far behind from the action which would leave the other 3 in a weaker state than if he was actually there. Also, if he stood still the entire time he could easily have been interrupted. Finally, he'd most likely need protection to gather the natural energy required and if someone stayed back to protect him they'd be temporary lacking fire power as to oppose there actual presence.

Yea. Its pretty sloppy writing on Kishimotos part. I mean he was shocked Naruto had sage mode. When he seen how effective it was that wpuldve been my first action
