Question about Madara

In chapter 675, this is the last time we see a full body shot of Madara:

In these images in 673, Madara is pretty ****ed up as a result of Gai's ass whippin'.

In the next scan, he absorbs the tree:

As a result, he is fully healed:

If you take a look at this scan a second time:

You'll notice that Madara is just chillin like a villian up in the air without a lower half to his body, as a result of being cut in half here:

And if you look at the page that follows that, you'll see that only his upper half was teleported to Kamui-land:

With all that said, my question is this:

How is it that Madara got his lower body back? Did he regenerate? It was kind of implied that he didn't have regeneration as a power when he had to absorb the tree to heal himself after the beating he took from Gai.

He does have regeneration. Refer to when Naruto fodderized him with the Youton Rasenshuriken. Afterwards, he regenerates like half his body. My assumption on the matter is that he just teleported above his lower half and regenerated it back.

regeneration, absorption.. or either absorbing takes less time (works faster) than regenerating.
Maybe its because he got both Rinnegan back while he was inside Kamui.

He absorbed the tree after Naruto's initial assault though. When Naruto attacked him, he was still injured from Gai's attacks.

There's a difference between small wounds and half your body.

He regenerated, obviously.

Ok, but how? Is it the power of the tree? If not, then why did he need the tree to heal after Gai's 8th gate and Naruto's LRS

yes he builds back his limbs...that is what happned...ur prolly like how come he didnt in kamui land then and when sasuke cut off his legs are they still there on the floor...i would say no....i think we are suppose to forget about his sliced off limbs but i get why ur confused
