Question about Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII

So I started this game off in normal mode but is it possible to beat the game in your first run in normal mode if it's your first time playing?

I'm at like day 7 within the game and I just entered Yusnaan after beating Noel and meeting Vanillie... I kind of ****ed around and didn't keep manage my time properly so... yeah lol.

How is the game in your opinion, worth getting? I actually loved final fantasy 13, but was really disappointed with ff13-2 (didn't even finish it). So whats the 3rd one like? I like that the characters I grew to love in ff13 are back, but it sucks that you can only play as lightning.

So far, I think it's a pretty good buy. It's far better than Final Fantasy 13-2 IMO however the game is harder so it's best to start the game in Easy Mode. When you beat the game (or lose if the timer runs out), you can start the game again in a different difficulty and you can keep your status and most of the stuff (garb's, most weapons, etc). I'd suggest also trying out the demo before buying it so you can get a feel of the game as well..
