Question about Kakuzu

Kakuzu has five hearts. 4 of them can be away from his body.

BUT what would happen if Kakuzu's main body was destroyed by a tech like jinton, lava release etc... A tech that can completely destro one's body. What happens to the hearts ?? Are they still alive ? Are they ''Kakuzu"" ?? Or do they simply drop dead ? I mean they look pretty independant, they don't have to be connected to the main body nor do they apppear to receive chakra like Nagato's paths...

Well when Kakuzu's main heart was destroyed he died. The other 2 hearts were functioning well after that happened.

Pretty much or just destroy the hearts. Kakuzu controls the hearts and their actions and when Kakuzu dies they are automaticlly programed to return to his body bringing him back to life. But with no body, the hearts have no purpose. They become easy targets.

Well Kakuzu was killed by Kakashi and the other bodies still moved so I guess he csn have up to 5 living entities. Were his origional to be destroyed it is possible for the other masks to live on. Since they existed on his back it isn't impossible to say he could take someone else's body for his own...just clear out the body for his threads...but sadly that's theoretical...we don't know enough to say for certain
