Question about Kakashi

Why does Kakashi never use the rasengan in battle?He trained for two years to learn it,yet he only used it when he was training Naruto.Is it a one time jutsu only for showing off?
I think that the rasengan could've been useful in a few of his fights too.

His Rasengan might not be powerful enough to use in combat, or he might just prefer to use Raikiri because it's his own signature technique.

His version is weak, maybe? Plus, anything normal rasengan can do, raikiri can do.

Hmm he has raikiri for short range powerful technique, it's more effective than rasengan.
Plus raikiri is his own signature jutsu why change it?

My guess is kakashi has raikiri from long time and he is nature is lighting and its take less chakra n easy to use for him than rasengan n rasengan doesnt suits him anyway

1- kakashi didn't learn rasingan in teo years ,but he copied it with his sharingan
2-kakashi has raiki which much stronger than rasingan

Same reason why he doesn't his other thousand techniques, he simply chooses not to. Or maybe if he feels that it'll be a prolonged battle with a formidable foe he might just want to keep his chakra usuage to a minimum so that he doesn't overexhert himself pulling jutsus outta his ass. And plus Raikiri better suits his quick fighting style.
