[Theory] Question about Kabuto's technique?

I am sorry I forgot the name of the jutsu that brings the dead back to life, but if thats true could he possibly keep Itachi alive for ever even after Kabuto dies? Or would Itachi be a killing machine or a normal person? Sorry for the grammer errors.
