Question about genjtsu(REVISED)

I want to ask that for e.g that there is a fight going on between itachi and naruto. Then itachi tries to put naruto under a genjutsu so when naruto comes under his genjutsu so itachi will get aware that his target(naruto) is now under his genjutsu or not.

Just like the time when Tayuya put Shikamaru under her genjutsu, and Shikamaru was acting. So Tayuya was unaware because she was unable to sense a disturbance in shikamaru's chakra.

Tell you the truth, this was unnecessary. You could have post within the same thread. Its understandable that you wanted to edited but..... Mods jobs.

On-topic: You have to have intelligence, not for most, to figure out that you in a Genjutsu. Some sensors could detect this right away. As for the opponent such as Itachi and Naruto case, Itachi is aware of putting an opponent under Genjutsu because is a bit common sense, as it depends on the Genjutsu being cast. It is either, a binding Genjutsu or illusion, that can determine if your opponent is under. Basically, some Genjutsu paralysis the opponent when being performed. Others do not, but merely illusions where opponents are still effected in their surrounding area.

PS: I'm not a big fan in the knowledge of Genjutsu so I could be wrong. Just check wikia or read Manga for more info.

i am not sure if i am recollecting it properly but i think that time shika was actually under genjutsu...(not sure though)
